So you have a survey to either end of the sump but not through the
sump? So you would like to constrain the vertical heights of two
stations relative to each other?

You could add a leg between them with a zero clino and approximate
length/angle (get the numbers from aven). Then set a very high SD on
the angle and length values so they do not really affect the location,
but keep the SD on the clino low so that it does.

You could use depth data style rather than 'normal' style but the
principle is the same. It might be easier to work out a suitable
height constraint in depth terms than angle of clino over however long
the sump is.

There may be a better way (I think this question has come up before),
but I can't think of one off the top of my head.
