Small snippets of plot

I get how to snip up items in the macro level, but is there a way to snip things farther? For instance, I want to to a passage profile but the data crosses a few different surveys. Is there a way I can just view the stations I want without totally restructuring the data? Esp handy for stacked layers (either in plan or profile).

I have been just using the plot and using the measuring tool from station to station but that only works if the measurements are perpendicular to the drawing view angle.

Does this make sense? Kind of complicated and I don’t believe I have consumed the correct amount of caffeine yet.
