I've updated the debian package and uploaded to debian unstable, and
also updated the PPA for older Ubuntu releases:

I haven't uploaded a version for precise, as that lacks packages of
wxwidgets3.0.  If there's actually a demand for it, I can try to make
it build with wxwidgets2.8, but I suspect users will have upgraded to
a newer LTS release by now.

Once the package migrates to testing, I'll update the backported
Debian versions.
