I've just checked both 1.2.6a and 1.1.14 on Windows 7 and Windows XP
respectively. I cannot find a feature which lets you page through a
preview on either of these. There is just the text label under the
scale picklist which tells you how many pages the print will be split
over (e.g. 6 pages (3x2) )
It could be that the print driver you have used in the past allowed
you to see a print preview of the print job. I have seen print drivers
like this on Windows before. Perhaps the Windows 8 printer driver does
not have that feature. One option is to print to the virtual XPS
printer which Windows provides. This generates an XPS file which you
can then view in Internet Explorer to see how the print job would have
looked (assuming you select the same paper size when printing for
real).
