Windows 8 (was Re: aven on iPad?)

OK, I'll do some more investigation. My laptop was also upgraded from
Windows 7 to Windows 8, but mine are 32 bit.
Survex/Aven was installed prior to upgrading the OS, so I can try a
reinstall to see if that fixes anything. I am running v1.2.6a
