I rebuilt the source on lenny (for the expo computer), which 'just
worked' nicely, but I found that /usr/share/survex/icons/osterei.jpg
is in both survex and survex-aven so neither install. 

The standard version won't install on lenny due to:
survex-aven depends on libwxbase2.8-0 (>= 2.8.10.1); however:
  Version of libwxbase2.8-0 on system is 2.8.7.1-1.1+lenny1.
  
However /usr/share/survex/icons/osterei.jpg is only in survex-aven in
that pair.

I can install survex as supplied from unstable and survex-aven rebuild
for lenny, which is a bit dodgy but seems to work.

It processes 'all' in loser dataset OK and aven displays it OK. No
obvious bugs in a 5-minute fiddle.
