Olly,

I think I found a easy solution for a library.  First, set value[fr - 1] in 
datain.c and then run process_normal().  Process_normal() will create stnlist 
in cavern.c... Then call solve_network(), which will create the 3D points in 
stnlist.  The only problem will be accessing value in datain.c... I will have 
to add a set function for changing value[fr - 1].  I never did figure out 
where fr was defined. I'm assuming the fr = 13???  Do you see any obvious 
problems with this method?  If I create a C++/C library for survex, could it 
be added to the cvs?
