OK, it looks like the problem is that the blobs coordinates get
transformed but they're already in screen coordinates.  This only
happens when the graphics card can't draw blobs for us and we have to
draw it ourselves by drawing a small filled circle:

> Point Size 1.000-3.000 (granularity 1.000)

We need this range to include 5.0 for us to be able to use this feature.

Anyway, this should be fixed in the next release.
