OS X Help

Just downloaded the latest Survex for OS X and would like to try it 
out. I am running OS 10.3.8 on a G4 Mac at 1.3 Ghz and 768 MB ram. I 
can run Aven just fine but the Unix executables such as svxedit do not 
seem to run from the terminal window. I tried the ./ svxedit command to 
no avail. I installed Survex and run as Admin on this machine. Any 
suggestions will be appreciated.
