Processing Compass data files

hmm, OK - that doesn't fit too well into the windows explorer interface.
the corect answer is 'type cavern filename.dat' at your command prompt' but
if you never use one of those that's not terribly handy.

I think if you right click on a file (or somewhere in explorer) there is a
generic 'run with..' type option? If you select that and then 'run with..'
cavern, that should do the trick.

Presumably your .dat files are currently associated with compass and you
don't want to change that default?
