Chasm 0.5.1 has now been released; no major changes but...

THERE'S A SCREENSAVER!

I know that the real reason why cavers spend hours in freezing cold water up
to their waists (or wastes), peering at a badly fogged compass is just so
that they can see their favourite cave spinning in space when the computer's
idle.

Installation is dead easy - chasm 0.5.1 comes packaged as a self-installing
program - just run the file, and follow the on-screen instructions. No more
faffing about with setting the help directory.

File associations are set up so that double clicking on a .svx file or a
.3d/.3dx file in My computer or explorer starts up chasm.

Various bugs squished.

A screensaver should be released shortly for those using Gnome, KDE, or
(generically) XScreenSaver; but the installation of these will require a
little work yet, and I'm off caving for the weekend. Tata.
