Someone else was talking to me about something similar the other day. He 
suggested EPS format; this would be quite easy to do, as it would be very 
similar to the printps command; We'd just need to find some way of fiddling 
with the program so that we can guarantee that only one page is produced.
And we need to produce a bitmap for the header of the file.

Graham, does your graphics/CAD/whatever support EPS
