Help with terrain files...

Hello... Can you help me a bit with terrain files?
I exported bil files set all what I needed - used UTM 34, etc... but cannot load the surface...

Is there anywhere a file that I can use for test?
How can I get files from asc to bil?
Only bil files are allowed?
