I think you have misunderstood how this works Luc.

We were talking about _anonymous_ stations. Your example above is
using named stations. You can call those what you like, but the '.'s
remain as separators and the '-'s remain as part of the station name.

As Ol gave in his example in the previous mail, to utilise anonymous
stations you should end up with lots of stations called '.' or '..' or
'...' (or '-', but if exporting to survex format I wouldn't use this -
it only makes sense for expedient import of data from pocket topo)
