I just read few pages about JSON and discovered that metacave will be very convoluted format of something which was quite simple and clear in Survex.

All changes I observe in last tens years are only going to complicate simple things. :(

Please, may you explain me, way you don’t use analysis od cave surveying problem from Survex and principle of surveys name-spaces and structure and maps structures from Therion if you want to make something better?
