Oops.  The idea is that 1.0.x should be able to read files produced by newer
versions (and just ignore the extra information) but it looks like that's
not currently true.  I've filed a bug for this and I will try to fix that soon:

If you are using Ubuntu, you can tell it to get packages of 1.1.13 from a
PPA I've just set up on launchpad:

See the "Adding this PPA to your system" section.

If it's a different Linux distribution, you'll need to tell us what it is.
