It seems it is failing to link with -lGLU, though I can't see for sure as you
didn't paste that bit of the output.

Can you open a ticket on http://trac.survex.com and attach the complete make
output (it's fine to just rerun it after it has failed - no need to start from
clean) and also config.log?
