non-unicode version of wxwidgets 2.8 for ubuntu?

Well, since Survex can't be compiled against a unicode build of
WxWidgets, can anyone point me where to find a non-unicode .deb of wx
2.8 for Ubuntu Feisty (Debian should work too)??
