saving log file in linux by default

I was wondering that a nice feature would be the log file saved by
default on Linux. In windows, it is, since there is no terminal output
when you process the svx, but in linux, one must explicit indicate
this. Now that Aven can open-process svx files, it would be good to
have the log file saved after processing a topo.
