You'll need to process the .svx file with a recent version of cavern
to get dates in the .3d file.  Otherwise there's no date information
and the option is disabled.  The version of cavern in 1.1.6 is best
as it puts in date information for LRUD passages too.

Then you should just be able to load it and "sort by date".

The oddest thing is that dates before 1970 shouldn't currently be
possible.  Hmm, unless that's how negative values come out.  Anyway,
this doesn't sound good.

What do the *date lines in the .svx file look like?
