I've just looked into this - I think the slight mismatch is due to all
coordinates being rounded to the nearest 1/72 of an inch - about .35mm.
That's pretty much invisible on a printout, but when you zoom in with a
drawing package you can see it.

I think the solution is to use the cave coordinates to the nearest cm,
and change the scaling factor.
