With the exception of this build system glitch, and excluding Aven,
Survex should work fine on Mac OS X.

If you install the wx libraries, you should be able to build Aven too:

The problem is that mouse and keyboard input apparently don't work!

I only have remote access to a Mac OS X box, so it's rather hard for me
to work out what's wrong. Martin Sluka has been very helpful in getting
this far, but he's not a programmer, and we struggled to make progress
debugging remotely. More recently Tim Morgan started to look at it, but
then relocated to Italy without his Mac!

So if you have access to a Mac OS X box and some knowledge of programming
we should be able to get it working. Alternatively if you're in the UK
somewhere I can easily get to and have a Mac OS X box, that'd help too.

A couple of people have asked about a Mac OS 9 version. This should
also be possible if somebody has the C and C++ development tools and
is happy to fiddle with converting the build system into a project
file for them.

Cheers,
