I suppose the thing I'm really worrying about is whether the display is
suddenly going to jump when you don't want it to (which won't happen
with the left button in quite such a radical way).

I'll hack it and see what it feels like, as that's the only real way of
doing it.  However, first I have to finish grappling with this wretched
cross-compilation of wxWindows which is causing trouble at the moment...
