Further to the discussion about the usability of Survex, it is probable that most people can be taught how to set up and use a Survex file. In my opinion what is needed far more urgently than that is an improved printing routine with a "print preview" option. Surely nobody can argue that only wimps need to see what they are getting before they commit their work to paper? Graham
