That sounds quite neat. I have quite a few friends that like both survex
and excell and will pass on this idea to them :-)

Yes. I like it when the computer data can be in a similar format to the
field data format for typo checking. Makes it much easier to check for
data entry errors. With survex it's easy, other packages are locked into
their data entry format.
