I have successfully produced a working map using carto and survex only. The one "issue" I had was that I have two survey, a and b. Two connect them I had to create a dummy station in one so that I could equate the two stations. The plt file contained the label of the dummy station, not the real label. I don't really know how to do this any better. Thanks! Philip
