Back in the days when cave surveys were of one cave and you fixed an
entrance location, this used to be a useful warning (warning you that you
have put it the fixed point but forgotten to link to it).

For the sort of multi-cave datasets we have now it's just a pain.

So people using Survcex for simple dataset probably still find it useful.
Anyone here still find it useful?

Yes, I think the correct approach is to have modifiers for the *FIX
commands, which set whether you want to be told if it's not used, and
probably change the survex default to not tell you, and imply SDs.

I agree - this is completely pointless - unless someone can thing of a
good reason we should just get rid of this warning, or at least relegate
it to '--fussy' status.
