Survex 0.96 prerelease 3 available

I've uploaded the third prerelease of Survex 0.96.  Download links are on:

http://www.survex.com/

It's available for all platforms apart from RISC OS and pre-386 DOS machines
(RISC OS is likely to appear shortly).  Mostly MSDOS and MS Windows changes
again, although there were also a few portability tweaks to the source code.

Changes in 0.96-prerelease3:

* caverot: DirectX version for Microsoft Windows.

* caverot: (MSDOS version) 640x480 doesn't work under NT either, but 320x200
  does so default to that instead.
  
* caverot: --mode-picker option now listed by --help.

This version now includes the direct x version of caverot (in the MS Windows
version that is).  It seems to work reasonably well for everyone except
Josep, who's tried two Windows 98 boxes without success - if we can find
another machine where it doesn't work perhaps we can work out why...
