As you know I still use RISCOS as my primary machine. I often do the
processing on a linux box and use the RISCOS viewer (faster in both
cases, and recent bugs in RISCOS cavern have made this a necesity).
Also my linux box can barely run X, nor is it new enough to compile aven
chasm (or potrot?).

I haven't used it on DOS-only for a very long time.

I do think PDAs (EPOC in my case) are significant, and going to become
more so. I could save myself miles of trekking and hours of time ever
expo if I could process data on my psion intead of walking down to base
camp. For expos ferther from base this is eeven more true.
